The Dampfzentrale, a cultural institution in Bern, hosts a variety of events and audiences, which can sometimes create tensions. Four fundamental rules were put in place to ensure a friendly and respectful space.

Our job was to use these rules as a basis for a more playful approach. My goal was to represent the fragility of these rules: if they are respected, they can create harmony full of diversity. So I designed fragile structures that hold together thanks to compliance with these rules.
For this project, I worked in 3D, which allowed me to experiment with Blender software and its nodes to create textures. When choosing materials, I decided to accentuate this effect of balance by playing with “heavy” and “lighter” materials to add a touch of surrealism that would spark curiosity.
